Almost too perfect to be real and resembling a old-fashion rose, Ranunculus are prized for their ruffled petals, long vase life, and early spring blooms in cold-climates.

Ranunculus germination can be finicky so sow more seeds than you want plants, about 12 weeks before planting out into your garden bed or pot. The good news is that your ranunculus can grow back each year from its corm (claw looking roots), just leave in the ground or dig up and replant each autumn.

Deadhead as flowers droop to encourage new flower growth.
